Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Reiterates support of Truth and Justice in Ireland.

Senator Robert Menendez, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee committed to the full implementation of the Good Friday Agreement and Stormont House Agreements.

Marking the 50th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday the Senator tweeted his support for the families of Civil Rights protesters killed ago on the streets of Derry.

The British Government is proposing to end all legal investigations into their past actions and banning families bereaved from taking any legal actions. This is a direct contradiction to the Good Friday and Stormont House Agreements.

The message from Senator Menendez is clear the rights of families must be respected, justice must prevail and agreements honored.
